inXtron Participates in 2012 Intel Storage Forum

Taipei, Taiwan, March 28, 2012 / -- It was a great honor and pleasure for inXtron to be invited to the 2012 Intel Storage Forum on March 27th, 2012 as both an exhibitor and presenter during this all day event.

The forum was the first public announcement of our new two-bay MyCloud Pro personal cloud device featuring the Intel® Atom™ processor D425. This solution provides extreme power and improved performance compared to our non Intel-based personal cloud products. The MyCloud Pro is able to do extremely quick video transcoding, has improved thumbnail images as well as various other improvements. We were very pleased to be able to announce it during the Intel Storage Forum and quickly received a write up on the VR-Zone website.

The morning session featured excellent speeches from several key Intel employees, including Mr. David Tuhy, General Manager of the Intel Storage Group. We later had the chance to discuss our products and vision for personal cloud storage with Mr. Tuhy as well as several others including Mr. Ran Karup, the Director of Market Development for the Intel Storage Group and Ilene Aginsky, Marketing Program Manager of the Intel Storage Group. It was fascinating to hear their ideas and share ours with them.

Later in the afternoon, our CEO, Mr. Tommy Chen, did a presentation on “Personal Cloud Service and Solutions for the Home and Small Business”. His presentation was well received and resulted in numerous inquiries into our personal cloud solutions.

All in all, it was a fantastic event and we are sincerely grateful to Intel for providing us with the opportunity to participate. With several other Intel based products in our roadmap, we hope that we will be participating for a long time to come.
