[SK-3500 Super-S] Firmware upgrade failed

Error: Upgrade failed. Please power cycle the external storage device and run this application again.

If you see the above error when attempting to update the firmware for the SK-3500 Super-S Combo, please try following:

1. Restart both the SK-3500 and the updater utility and then try to update the firmware once more.
2. Make sure you are using the latest updater utility (Last modified Jan 21, 2011 or later).
3. If the updater utility on the Mac does not work, please use the Windows utility on a PC instead.
4. If none of the above helps, submit a ticket on our Help Desk.
